A redwood deck built in Denver from a cleared backyard corner through taped joist framing and ledger attachment to a finished deck with a wrap-around step platform.

Challenge

The backyard corner needed to be cleared and graded before any deck framing could start, giving the crew a clean, level area to build from.
The deck ties into the home with a ledger board and sits above an existing curved concrete patio, so the framing had to line up with both the house and the grade below.
